Yusuf Akçiçek, the 19-year-old central defender from Fenerbahçe (contract runs until 2028) and Turkey, has been mentioned as a target for Paris Saint-Germain this summer. PSG Inside Actus now reports a forthcoming meeting to discuss a possible transfer, in addition to Parisians Milan Skriniar (30-year-old defender) and Marco Asensio (29-year-old attacking midfielder) and possibly other players.

Don’t worry, nothing’s been done yet. Akçiçek is an interesting player, with a possible future at the highest level. PSG could at least make enquiries. However, there’s nothing concrete yet. Paris may have other ideas, while the Turk may not want to sign (there are many parameters) and Fenerbahçe may not sell easily.
There are still too many uncertainties. So we’ll have to wait and see. The mercato is still a long way off.
