This Sunday evening, the UNFP unveiled the winners of its Trophies for the 2023-2024 season in Ligue 1, rewarding the best team, the best goal, the best goalkeeper, the best prospect, the best player and the best coach. Paris Saint-Germain had 4 players nominated for the best player award: Vitinha (24-year-old midfielder), Ousmane Dembélé (27-year-old striker), Bradley Barcola (23-year-old striker) and Achraf Hakimi (27-year-old full-back). They were in competition with Rayan Cherki of Olympique Lyonnais.
Cette saison, le génie est sorti de sa lampe et l'on a vu le vrai @dembouz 😤
Performant, décisif, régulier, toujours dribbleur de génie, le meilleur espoir de 2016 a été exceptionnel et il est plébiscité comme il se doit…

It’s clearly no surprise to see Dembélé win this trophy. There are even rumours that he could be in the running for the Ballon d’Or. Obviously, in Ligue 1, with his steamroller team, he first played as he knew how before returning in 2025 as a true cold-blooded striker.
As Ligue 1’s top scorer and the road captain of this Parisian team, he was the favourite, especially as everyone has the European adventure in mind. Congratulations to him and to all Parisian players, nominated and/or victorious in their category.
