Vitinha, the 25-year-old Paris Saint-Germain midfielder, was at a press conference with Portugal. Aware that he has become a player who counts, he reminds us that he can help with his experience, and that he is happy to be recognized for the quality of his work.

Vitinha “there are several factors.”

“The best moment of your career? What changed?

There can be many reasons. The coach’s confidence in me, in myself… there are several factors. I’m very happy with what’s happening.

Is it nice to be praised by everyone?

We all like to be praised and I’m no exception, I’ve enjoyed it… I’m grateful. I’ve got to keep going. We all like to be recognized, but when there’s too much praise, I feel uncomfortable. Always be at my best and justify the praise.

Vitinha “It’s true that we understand each other very well”.

Joao Neves back with Portugal after a good relationship with PSG?

It’s true that we understand each other very well, we had a good season. We’re performing well. But that doesn’t depend on me. It’s the coach who decides. Individually, I hope to play. We have a good dynamic within the club, but we also have a good dynamic with the players who are here.

It’s always nice to be recognized for a job well done. I hope to be able to pass on that experience to the national team and help them”, comments relayed by Paris SG Infos.

Top 30 in the last Ballon d’Or and in last season’s Champions League team of the season, Vitinha has reached a new level. He now has more experience, plays with more confidence and can play a leading role with Portugal as he does in Paris.

He’s no longer the player who has to prove himself; his consistency is a real strength. He’s a real metronome in midfield, loses very little ball and always knows how to gauge the intensity of a match.
