Vitinha, the 24-year-old midfielder who signed for Paris Saint-Germain in 2022 from FC Porto, spoke to the club’s official website following his contract extension until 2029.

Vitinha “There are a lot of reasons why I want to stay here for a long time.”

“I’ve evolved a lot since I arrived, including on a human level. I hope to be an important part of the team, and I’ll give it my all. My family feels good and so do I. I like the city of Paris, I like coming to work at the Campus, I like the people who work here, I like the club. There are a lot of reasons why I want to stay here for a long time.”

It’s no coincidence that Vitinha has become a much-loved player among fans. As well as his level of skill on the pitch and the determination shown in every performance, he also makes declarations and shows a great deal of love for PSG. He soon intends to achieve great things in Paris, and knows how to speak out in good times and bad.

We’re delighted to see this great player and leader flourish at PSG, with the firm intention of making history by winning trophies. Including, of course, the Champions League.
