Gianluigi Donnarumma, the 25-year-old goalkeeper who arrived at Paris Saint-Germain in 2021 with a contract running until 2026 (following the end of his own at AC Milan), is regularly called into question by fans and observers alike. Even so, an extension is under discussion, but it’s proving rather difficult. His agent has even spoken of a “stand-by” situation. Corriere della Sera claims this Tuesday that the PSG goalkeeper has made a landmark decision for the future.
“CorSera : Gianluigi #Donnarumma, whose contract expires in 2026 with #PSG, wants to return to Italy. Inter are said to be on the lookout, but the club insists the possibility is “utopian” for the time being. Perhaps less so next summer..”
We remain cautious, as this is only a rumour and could come from the player’s agent to put pressure on the negotiations. Or from a more or less certain source who is taking advantage of the lack of clarity in this dossier. In any case, there’s nothing official.
But it’s not unthinkable that Donnarumma is thinking of leaving PSG, with a contract extension currently blocked and a little something still missing from this adventure. A return to Italy is also conceivable, despite the goalkeeper’s early departure.
A move to Inter Milan would finally break his link with AC Milan, where his departure at the end of his contract was never digested.
