Paris Saint-Germain travel to Roazhon Park this Wednesday to face Stade Briochin in the quarter-finals of the Coupe de France. RMC Sport‘s Fabrice Hawkins has the good news that 18-year-old Warren Zaïre-Emery could be back in the squad a month after his injury.
“While a return to action against LOSC in Ligue 1 on Saturday looked likely for a while, Warren Zaïre-Emery could even make an appearance in PSG’s squad this Wednesday against Stade Briochin in the French Cup quarter-finals.”
A month after spraining his left ankle against Stuttgart, WZE is back to full fitness in training.”
Excellent news. It’s hard to imagine Luis Enrique taking risks with him, so if he’s here, it’s because he’s ready. PSG have a full squad ready for the big matches, and the medical staff are doing a fantastic job.
We’ll see what his coach can give him, but obviously, Zaïre-Emery needs a rhythm to be ready for the Liverpool game. Getting back into the swing of things could enable him to be ready for the Champions League. We can’t wait to see the team Luis Enrique puts on the scoresheet this Wednesday.
