Paris Saint-Germain have managed (so far) to keep their infirmary often empty this season. Against Dunkerque, there were two sick players, Khvicha Kvaratskhelia (24-year-old striker) and Ibrahim Mbaye (17-year-old striker), plus injuries to Arnau Tenas (23-year-old goalkeeper) and Lee Kang-in (24-year-old midfielder/forward). Three players returned to training on Wednesday. PSG therefore continue with a virtually full squad.
And
Kvaratskhelia, Mbaye and Tenas are already in the squad, which is excellent news. Seasons with so few absentees from the squad for matches are rare. Luis Enrique is to be congratulated on his quality management. It’s important, because the season is far from over, with some exciting fixtures to come. The Paris team will need everyone to get results.
While everything seems to be going well in the Coupe de France, with the final still to come, and in Ligue 1, with the French champions almost crowned, there’s still a Champions League quarter-final to play for if they are to dream even bigger. Luis Enrique should be able to count on a squad ready for battle.
