This Saturday, Paris Saint-Germain (1st) take on Montpellier (18th) at the Stade de la Mosson for the 33rd day of Ligue 1 2024-2025 (kick-off 9pm, CET). Paris coach Luis Enrique must choose his starting 11, taking into account the opponent, upcoming matches and suspension risks, after having formed the Parisian squad for this match.
We suspect there will be a big rotation just 3 days after the second leg of the Champions League 2024-2025 semi-final against Arsenal. In fact, a number of first-team regulars have already been rested, while others are unlikely to start.
Will it be the same team as in Strasbourg last weekend? It’s a real possibility, but there could be a few changes. Even if it makes sense to build on this base.
Possible line-up:
Barcola – Ramos – Mbaye
Mayulu – Lee – Zaire-Emery
Hernandez – Beraldo – Tape – Neves
Safonov.
Substitutes – Safonov, Tenas, Kamara, Zague, Doué, Slama, Kvaratskhelia, Ndjantou.
Out – Dembélé, Donnarumma, Hakimi, Mendes, Pacho, Ruiz, Vitinha (rest), Mouquet, Kimpembe (injury).
Possible suspension for yellow card: Mendes, Zaïre-Emery.
This would be effective for the Coupe de France final on May 24 against Reims.
