Andrija Maksimovic, the 17-year-old attacking midfielder under contract until 2027 with Red Star Belgrade, has been rumored to be in Paris Saint-Germain’s mercato sights. Max Bet Sports assures us this Sunday that PSG have won the race!

“An official offer has been prepared for the Serbian champion, which, with possible bonuses, should amount to around 15 million euros, which would be a record transfer for the club from the Rajko Mitić stadium. Negotiations between the two parties are expected to be finalized shortly.”

We remain cautious, having already seen announcements about this mercato denied. This is a good reminder that concrete, official elements are needed for certainty. However, it’s interesting to see a Serbian media outlet being so assertive. We can only hope that this is not a random move.

If Maksimovic’s arrival is confirmed, it would potentially be a great coup for PSG. This young talent has also been mentioned as a target by Liverpool and AC Milan, among others. But let’s wait and see. Nothing’s been decided yet, and the Serbian would then have a lot to do in Paris to confirm the hopes placed in him.
