Mahamadou Sangaré, the 18-year-old Paris Saint-Germain-trained striker whose aspirant contract expires this summer, has been rumored to be on the move. RMC Sport, via journalist Fabrice Hawkins, has now confirmed that the PSG star has indeed signed for Manchester City.
“Mahamadou Sangaré leaves PSG to sign his first professional contract at Manchester City
Medical examination ok. 5-year contract effective from July 1.”
This has been the trend of late, and it would be surprising if this journalist were so randomly assertive. If anything, we’re expecting official confirmation soon. It’s bound to be a disappointment, as we love to see the Titis fighting for a place at PSG and growing little by little. Especially as Sangaré has a certain talent that gives us hope of a fine career.
It’s not for nothing that he signed for Manchester City, even if there’s no guarantee of a successful career. We wish Sangaré all the best, despite his difficult start. However, we’re sure that PSG have other great talents on whom they can pin their hopes, so there’s no need to dramatize the situation either. No club can keep all its promising young players.
