This Friday, Paris Saint-Germain (1st) take on Botafogo (2nd) at the Rose Bowl Stadium for Matchday 2 of the Club World Cup (kick-off 3am CET, broadcast on DAZN). With this Wednesday’s training session, 90min takes a look at the squad.
“PSG training at UC Irvine this Wednesday morning
O. Dembele solo for now
B. Barcola
P. Kimpembe
G. Moscardo
Rest of the full squad
Resuming after a day’s rest yesterday
D-1 to Botafogo”
Bradley Barcola (22-year-old striker) and Gabriel Moscardo (19-year-old midfielder) should therefore be ready for this match, strengthening the squad. It’s interesting, not least for the opportunity to see the young midfielder play for PSG. But it also increases the number of options at an intense time, at the end of an already long season.
As for Dembélé, there are no surprises. We’re just waiting to see if he’ll be able to play on Monday against the Seattle Sounders on Matchday 3.
