This Saturday, in the quarter-finals of the 2025 Club World Cup, Paris Saint-Germain take on Bayern Munich at Mercedes-Benz Stadium (kick-off 6pm CET, broadcast on DAZN). On the eve of the match, the press tried to guess the team that will be fielded by Paris coach Luis Enrique.
Le Parisien (4-3-3) –
Kvaratskhelia – Dembélé – Doué
Ruiz – Vitinha – Neves
Mendes – Pacho – Beraldo – Hakimi
Donnarumma
L’Equipe (4-3-3) –
Kvaratskhelia – Dembélé – Barcola
Ruiz – Vitinha – Neves
Mendes – Pacho – Beraldo – Hakimi
Donnarumma
There are always several possibilities with coach Luis Enrique, but we’ve seen a “typical team” take shape lately. The suspense is somewhat around the possible management of the squad, except that there has been time since Sunday, and PSG were able to play “quietly” in the second half against Inter Miami.
Against Bayern, therefore, we’re expecting a very fine line-up overall. Some of them, like Warren Zaïre-Emery, could still get some game time. There is also, and perhaps above all, some suspense up front. Ousmane Dembélé (28-year-old striker) played again against Inter Miami, so it remains to be seen whether he can start against the Bavarians.
If it’s possible, it’s hard to know who will be on the bench between Bradley Barcola, Désiré Doué and Khvicha Kvaratskhelia. We’ll have to wait for the official line-up announcement around 1 hour before the match to be sure.
