Yusuf Akçiçek, the 19-year-old central defender from Fenerbahçe (contract runs until 2028) and Turkey, has been mentioned as being in the sights of Paris Saint-Germain for the mercato. Fanatik confirms this Monday evening.
It’s not yet enough to be certain, but PSG Inside Actus recently mentioned the possibility, and this confirmation from Turkey is interesting. At the very least, he’s a credible target to bolster the squad with a talented player who could accept an understudy role at first, in the hope of growing into his full potential.
Akçiçek could really come close to PSG. However, it’s also credible that Paris is moving on to other options and that the defender’s future is taking shape elsewhere. Let’s wait and see.
