Having arrived in the 2023 summer mercato from Inter Milan, 30-year-old defender Milan Skriniar has not made the move to Paris Saint-Germain. His contract expires in June 2028, and he has been loaned out to Fenerbahçe for the second half of the 2024-2025 season. He has bounced back well and there is now talk of a permanent transfer this summer to the Turkish club. Erdem Akbaş, A Spor journalist, assures that the Turkish club has reached an agreement with PSG for a transfer. The player has also agreed.
“Fenerbahçe has agreed with Paris Saint-Germain for the transfer of Milan Škriniar!!! Agreement also reached with the Slovak!”
For Paris Saint-Germain, the decision to part company with Milan Skriniar (30) is part of a more rational approach to squad management. Recruited as a free agent, but with a substantial salary, the Slovak defender never really convinced Luis Enrique, whose system requires mobility and rapid recovery, qualities not often associated with Skriniar.
By letting him go, PSG will lighten its wage bill and free up space for profiles more compatible with the style desired by the Spanish coach, while avoiding keeping a player who has been marginalized in sporting terms.
