This Friday, as part of Matchday 6 of Ligue 1 2024-2025, Paris Saint-Germain (1st) take on Rennes (8th) at the Parc des Princes (kick-off 9pm, broadcast on beIN SPORTS). On the eve of the match, the press tried to guess the team that will be fielded by Paris coach Luis Enrique.
Le Parisien (4-3-3) –
Barcola – Kolo Muani – Dembélé
Neves – Ruiz – Zaïre-Emery
Beraldo – Pacho – Marquinhos – Hakimi
Donnarumma.
L’Equipe (4-3-3) –
Lee – Kolo Muani – Dembélé
Ruiz – Neves – Zaïre-Emery
Beraldo – Pacho – Marquinhos – Hakimi
Donnarumma.
Given the numerous absentees, every team seems possible without it being clear exactly what solutions coach Luis Enrique will choose. He knows how to surprise, as we’ve seen often enough.
The attacking line-up is a major point of suspense, with several different options in the middle. These include Randal Kolo Muani, Ousmane Dembélé and Lee Kang-In. The latter can also play in midfield or on the wing, or be on the bench. We’ll have to wait until tonight to find out for sure.
