In an interview with Ligue 1+, he highlighted the exceptional performance of his PSG teammate Ousmane Dembélé (28), believing him to be the true man of the season and the most deserving of the trophy.

It would be incredible, but I think and believe that the most deserving player is Ousmane. This year, he’s truly the man who brought us all the way to the end, to the title we won. For me, in my opinion, he’s the one who deserves to win the Ballon d’Or. But it’s true that everyone dreams of winning the Ballon d’Or, one year, one day. If it comes, it would be incredible.
