Vitinha, the 25-year-old Paris Saint-Germain midfielder, spoke to Canal+ after the 5-3 victory against Tottenham this Wednesday at the Parc des Princes in Matchday 5 of the 2025-2026 Champions League.
Vitinha: “It’s definitely special.”
What will you take away from this match? For you personally, first of all?
It was a special moment for me here in Paris. I think it’s the first time I’ve scored two goals in the same match, so three is definitely special. I feel happy, I feel pleased, not just for my individual performance but mainly for the victory.
Vitinha: “We have to maintain this character.”
It’s an important victory, twice when we were behind, and that boosts the team’s character. This isn’t the first time; it’s happened before, but it’s true that this time it’s further proof of our team’s strength, and we have to keep going like this. We have to maintain this character, and whatever happens in the match, we must congratulate the whole team.
What’s your favorite goal?
Maybe the one with my left foot, because in my career I might only have one or two.
