Paris Saint-Germain played their final match of 2025 this Saturday against Vendée Fontenay Foot, winning 4–0 in the Round of 32 of the Coupe de France. Speaking to PSG TV, 18-year-old midfielder Noah Nsoki, who made his first-ever start with the first team, shared his emotions after the match.
Nsoki: “I hope the coach will trust me again”
“I’m really, really happy tonight—first of all because of the win, and personally because of my performance. I want to thank the coach for the trust he gave me. I hope I repaid it and that I’ll continue to do so in the future. I think it’s great to see players from the academy playing with the professional group.
It can also inspire other young players who hope to be in my position one day. I encourage them to keep working hard. As for me, I’m very happy. I hope I can stay here, but that comes through hard work. I hope the coach will trust me again, and I’ll try to seize the opportunity when it comes.”
It’s a strong message sent to the academy and the Parisian youth players, once again showing that with hard work, the first team remains within reach. It’s also an unforgettable moment for Nsoki, who wore PSG colors for the first time in an official match.
Of course, he’ll need to remain focused and consistent to earn more playing time. But the message sent is already a powerful one and should encourage the young Parisian to keep pushing forward. Other academy graduates are expected to join the first team over the course of the season, in line with the club’s new development strategy implemented over the past two years.
