On Saturday at the Stade de la Beaujoire, Paris Saint-Germain defeated Vendée Fontenay 4-0 in the Round of 32 of the 2025-2026 Coupe de France. As we now do after every match, we asked our readers to vote for the best PSG player of the game. Désiré Doué (20-year-old midfielder/forward) won.

It’s been a long time since we’ve had three forwards on the podium, a sign of a polished performance with chances created and clinical finishing. Each player contributed two goals, which is very positive. Doué edged out Gonçalo Ramos (the 24-year-old striker) and Ousmane Dembélé (the 28-year-old forward) for being more enterprising and creative in his play.
However, Ramos fulfilled his role very well, and Dembélé was effective, playing a cautious game focused primarily on passing and not being particularly incisive with the ball at his feet.
Thank you for your votes. As a reminder, the top three players from each match are then used to determine the Player of the Month.
