Richard Rios, a 24-year-old midfielder under contract to Palmeiras until 2026 and who distinguished himself at this summer’s Copa America with Colombia, has been rumored to be in the sights of Paris Saint-Germain. RCN Radio revives the story now.
The media reports that Paris is interested in Rios, who could be sold to meet the Brazilian club’s financial needs. PSG have reportedly taken a good look at the player and are fairly certain of their choice. A proposal should therefore be made, with a price tag of around €20 million.
Nothing impossible, but we remain cautious as this is still just a rumour with no official confirmation. Rios could well be a target to strengthen the midfield, but other players could be targeted just as other clubs could be interested in recruiting the Colombian.
