Fabián Ruiz, the 29-year-old midfielder of Paris Saint-Germain who joined the club in the summer of 2022 from Napoli, has finally established himself fully and has also been shining with Spain. This has naturally attracted transfer rumors, especially with his contract at PSG running until 2027. According to some Turkish media outlets, Galatasaray are moving forward on a potential transfer, either on loan or permanently.

“BREAKING | Burhan Can Terzi: ‘Galatasaray are in talks for Fabián Ruiz. PSG and Galatasaray are both negotiating over Ruiz.’ Galatasaray are even in discussions regarding the player PSG are considering as a replacement for Ruiz.”
Caution is strongly advised, as a departure for Ruiz does not seem particularly likely—especially this winter. Moreover, nothing suggests that he would necessarily move to Galatasaray if he were to leave. It is worth noting that the Spanish newspaper AS has also mentioned an approach from the Turkish club, but with PSG rejecting it, which appears more credible.
Recently, the main topic surrounding Ruiz has been the possibility of a contract extension in Paris. That is not guaranteed either, so concrete developments will still be needed before drawing any firm conclusions.
