How do you explain the defeat?
We were very imprecise throughout the match; some players were incredibly inaccurate. We’re not used to that. The first half was the one in which Monaco created the fewest chances in the last three matches, but we still gave away a goal. After that, the lack of confidence was clear. We need to correct that for Wednesday.
Luis Enrique: “Whether we win or lose, it’s multifactorial.”
How do you correct that? Is it individual? Is it mental?
It’s a bit of everything. It’s not a single thing. Everyone wants to find a single thing, but it’s never that. When you win or lose, it’s multifactorial. When you lose, your mind starts to wander, you lose confidence. I don’t want to doubt this team for a minute; it has the mentality to constantly improve. We’ve already shown that, and I hope we’ll do it again in the upcoming matches
