While Ousmane Dembélé, Paris Saint-Germain’s 27-year-old striker, was finally forced to withdraw from the French national team’s games during the November break (even though the injury does not appear to be serious), Mundo Deportivo reports on Thursday that Fabian Ruiz, Spain’s 28-year-old midfielder, is also concerned.
Ruiz is not yet out, but he was absent from collective training on Thursday and is therefore highly doubtful for tomorrow evening’s match against Denmark. We’ll wait for official news to find out more, but let’s hope it’s just a minor setback.
PSG have some big dates coming up, and the end of the year is testing, so it would be a shame to see the infirmary fill up again when there’s hope that it will be almost empty when the season resumes. Especially with worries that are difficult to control if they appear in the squad.
