Here’s our series. The 5 best reasons to watch a match (with some adjustments here and there). We’ll be highlighting the most appealing aspects before each match with a mix of seriousness and humor. Please note, this isn’t meant to be an exhaustive overview. We continue here with Paris Saint-Germain’s match this Wednesday against Bayern Munich at the Allianz Arena in the second leg of their Champions League semi-final (PSG won the first leg 5-4) 2025-2026 (kick-off 9 pm, CET).
5 – The End Is Near.
Before we know it, the season is almost over for the clubs. The World Cup will certainly be exciting to watch, but that leaves PSG out of it. We’re reaching the end of almost two consecutive years of competition; this time the break is really here, and you never know what the future holds. So let’s make the most of the matches.
4 – Kvaratskhelia still at his best?
We already included Khvicha Kvaratskhelia (the 25-year-old striker) in the first leg because he was in good form and he shone particularly brightly. The Georgian confirmed that he belongs at the highest level, and we’re eager to see him again, given how well he performs in such high-stakes matches. He demonstrates both determination and footballing genius.
3 – What solutions does each side have?
This match is a huge battle of ideas and tactics. No one will want to abandon their philosophy, but they still need to find ways to disrupt the opponent. We’re naturally curious to see what each coach will choose, hoping to find a formula that helps their players make the difference.
2 – Another exceptional match to savor.
The first leg was a spectacular event, with relentless intensity and a special kind of entertainment. We’d be surprised if the return leg wasn’t exciting, even if it might be quite different. These are two of the most exciting teams in the world facing off. Whether you’re a fan or not, you have to savor this. And as a true club supporter, you never know when the next Champions League semi-final will be. All the more reason to enjoy it to the fullest.
1 – A place in the final against Arsenal
The most important thing, of course, is qualification for the Champions League final on Saturday, May 30th at 6 PM in Budapest against Arsenal (1-0 yesterday against Atlético Madrid, 2-1 on aggregate). There’s no need to say more; it’s a special event. It’s impossible to ignore.
