This Saturday, as part of Matchday 32 of Ligue 1 2025-2026, Paris Saint-Germain faced Lorient at the Parc des Princes. Yvon Mvogo, the 31-year-old Lorient goalkeeper, spoke to beIN SPORTS after the 2-2 draw.
Mvogo: “A huge thank you to my teammates, my coach, and all the staff.”
It’s a draw, but it feels like a victory?
We were really keen to come here to Paris, especially against this fantastic team, to continue playing our style of football, and I think we did well today. They did have some chances at the end of the game, and it could have been difficult. I want to give a huge thank you to my teammates, my coach, and all the staff because, frankly, we really played our game.
You were determined to build from the back, and PSG didn’t press you at that point?
We analyzed them a lot, even though it wasn’t really necessary because they’re a top team. They all wanted to win the ball back, and we were determined to draw them into our half to find opportunities behind their defense and hurt them. And that’s what we managed to do in phases.
