On Monday, the Professional Football League (LFP) announced the winners of the “Championnat des Tribunes” (Stand Championship) for Ligue 1 and Ligue 2 in a press release. AS Saint-Étienne took the top spot in the second division, while Paris Saint-Germain claimed victory in the top flight.

“This year, the ranking for clubs with the best atmosphere—assessed by the broadcaster of each match—is dominated by Racing Club de Lens with 131 points. They are followed by Olympique Lyonnais, in second place with 122 points, and Paris Saint-Germain, in third with 121 points,” the LFP stated.
“Regarding attendance, only Paris Saint-Germain secured the maximum possible number of points (102), followed very closely by Racing Club de Lens (101 points) and Stade Rennais FC (100 points).”
We are well aware of the debates that arise among supporters, and we know this ranking won’t please everyone. However, it is based on several criteria, so it is likely no coincidence that PSG holds the top spot. Even though they ranked third for atmosphere—a point some might dispute—they possess other strong qualities that allowed them to pull ahead in the overall standings. It is a great achievement for the club, which will aim to do even better. This season has seen the gradual return of Ultras to the Boulogne Stand, helping to further elevate the atmosphere. Let’s hope this positive trend continues.
