Maxim De Cuyper, 23-year-old left-back for Belgium and Club Brugge, has been a target for Paris Saint-Germain this summer, with a contract extension in August until 2028. PSG Inside Actus reports on Tuesday that PSG have taken concrete action.
โLuis Campos reportedly had an initial meeting with De Cuyper a few days agoโ.
โPSG have made an initial offer for De Cuyper. Luis Campos, PSG’s sporting director, reportedly had an initial meeting with De Cuyper a few days ago (with the Belgian club’s permission) to discuss the prospects of a transfer.
Several other European clubs are interested in Maxim De Cuyper. They include :
Olympique de Marseille, Liverpool, Arsenal, Wolfsburg, Union Berlin, Betis Sevilla, Valencia, Atlรฉtico Madrid, Ajax Amsterdam and Fenerbahรงe.โ
Nothing impossible, as De Cuyper is a young talent in a position where PSG seems to be lacking someone in order to have a slightly more complete squad. We’ve been talking about this for some time, and it could well happen.
However, there’s nothing concrete yet, as official confirmation is still lacking. So we must remain cautious. Paris may well be concentrating on other avenues, or failing to make any particular progress. Other destinations seem possible for the young Belgian.
So we’re still waiting for certainty. As is often the case around the mercato, the next one doesn’t open until January.
