Maghnes Akliouche, the 24-year-old attacking midfielder/winger for AS Monaco (under contract until 2028) and the French national team, has been linked with a move to Paris Saint-Germain during the 2026 summer transfer window. It now appears almost certain. An agreement between the clubs was reported by several media outlets a few days ago, and the French international arrived in Paris this Thursday, according to a photo shared by journalist Fabrizio Romano.
There is hardly any doubt left, although the transfer market is known to spring major surprises from time to time. We can certainly be very optimistic about Akliouche joining PSG, as an official announcement now seems imminent. That said, there is sometimes a delay between the signing and the official announcement—often for reasons beyond our understanding.
It is nonetheless reasonable to prepare for Akliouche’s arrival at PSG, with his first training session likely taking place in the coming days. It will then be up to him to rise to the occasion at this major milestone in his career.
