Bradley Barcola, a 23-year-old forward signed by Paris Saint-Germain in the summer of 2023 on a contract running until June 2028, has established himself at both PSG and the French national team. However, he has largely remained a substitute for big matches in Paris and has turned down a contract extension offer. Consequently, a summer departure is on the cards, with Liverpool notably showing interest. According to journalist Abdellah Boulma, negotiations are ongoing, and the asking price has now been lowered.
Discussions regarding Bradley Barcola are continuing between Liverpool and PSG. The two clubs are in regular contact. PSG’s current asking price is around €140 million. The player’s priority remains joining the Reds.
These claims are credible, though nothing is certain yet as there is no concrete agreement. Negotiations between the clubs are likely to continue. PSG might be willing to sell a player who is no longer fully committed to the project, especially after bringing in attacking reinforcements (Maghnes Akliouche, Ferran Torres, and Mika Godts, while Lee Kang-In and Gonçalo Ramos have left). As for Liverpool, the search for a forward—or even two—continues following Mohamed Salah’s departure. Ibrahim Mbaye (18) could be an option, although that deal appears less advanced.
Regarding Barcola, the asking price has dropped from the initial €170 million figure. This makes sense; it is simply the nature of negotiations, and the original sum seemed rather high. For now, we await confirmation. Nothing is official, so nothing is certain.
