The Best FIFA Football Awards traditionally honor the best players in the game for their performances over the course of a year, from one July to the next. For this 2024 edition, Vinicius won the title of player of the year, and the best 11 were unveiled. No Parisian was included, despite a good season in the Champions League and a successful campaign in France. Most of the players are from Manchester City and Real Madrid.
A typical 11 without a PSG player? Perhaps that’s logical, even if the Parisian season has been of a very high standard. Once again, it’s difficult to put these teams together, as it’s hard to gauge the importance of any particular player in a squad.
