Having arrived from Inter Milan in the summer of 2023, 29-year-old defender Milan Skriniar has yet to find his place at Paris Saint-Germain. His contract expires in June 2028, but already a departure seems likely as the Slovak international is no longer playing. This Saturday, PSG Inside Actus reports that the player is in contact with Galatasaray, as previously announced, but that he has other priorities.
โDespite these discussions, no agreement has yet been finalized. The player is giving himself some time to decide whether or not to accept.
Despite Galatasaray’s interest, Skriniar prefers a return to Italy (Juventus, Napoli, As Roma) or a transfer to England. These two destinations are considered more attractive to the player, who is keen to play in more competitive leagues better suited to his style of play.โ
We remain cautious, as there is still nothing official in this dossier. Even if we suspect that Skriniar is on his way out, given his very limited playing time in recent months.
As for the rest, it’s still all a bit hazy. Galatasaray is regularly mentioned, which is probably not for nothing. But that’s no guarantee either. Especially as it was announced as being well advanced a few days ago, only to become just a lead today.
Perhaps Skriniar knows that things can move fast with the Turkish club, preferring to wait a while and see if there are other options.
