On Wednesday at San Mamés Stadium, Paris Saint-Germain won their 0-0 Champions League match against Athletic Bilbao on Matchday 6. Following the match, UEFA named the best player of the game.
Unai Simon, the 28-year-old goalkeeper, seems a logical choice after several excellent saves. PSG took some time to get going, but still managed to create some excellent chances. Their finishing could have been better, but it would also be unfair not to highlight the Spanish goalkeeper’s performance. This is somewhat reminiscent of Parisian dominance. Which, unfortunately, doesn’t translate into points.
