This Friday evening, Paris Saint-Germain drew 0-0 against Auxerre on Matchday 14 of Ligue 1 2024-2025 at the Stade de l’Abbé-Deschamps. Here are our top and bottom stories from the draw.
Tops –
Clean Sheet
PSG are used to conceding goals, but this was not the case on Friday evening. Auxerre didn’t have much in terms of situations, but they were well managed. Paris came away with the same feeling of domination, and when they can’t win, at least they know not to lose.
Hakimi
He’s everywhere, he rebels, he looks like the great player everyone expects him to be. It’s a pity the team doesn’t have his drive and ability to sublimate to try and move mountains. He played a good game.
Flops –
No goals scored
How is this possible? PSG were once again omnipresent in front of their opponents’ goal, and in the end, no goal. There’s always something missing, a control, a good pass, a nice move. PSG are capable of anything, even of going hours without scoring a goal despite their immense dominance.
Barcola and Ramos
Although they managed a few things, we’re still on our last legs. Lee was a little better, but the Parisian attack can be ashamed of its performance. Opposite them, Auxerre are a fine team, but there can never be a draw. Our confidence is gone, and we’re going to have to get it back quickly if we’re to win, especially with the Salzburg match coming up, which will be crucial.
