On Wednesday, in the second leg of their 2025-2026 Champions League semi-final, Paris Saint-Germain faced Bayern Munich at the Allianz Arena. After a match where the Parisians struggled but prevented Bayern from taking control, they finished with a 1-1 draw (5-6 on aggregate). Here are our player ratings for PSG.

Contents
Goalkeeper –Defenders –Midfielders –Forwards –Coach –

Goalkeeper –

Matvey Safonov (7) – A very good first half, he made the necessary saves. He was sometimes wary of his distribution, and also had a tendency to come far out of his goal. He performed admirably.

Defenders –

Warren Zaïre-Emery (8) – He had some difficult moments, but he also had a very good first half. He played high up the pitch, but also defended well. A fine performance that showcased his talent. He filled in perfectly for Hakimi.

Marquinhos (7) – He played very close to Luis Diaz in the first half. He was very focused and dominant overall. He kept his direct opponents in check. Despite the criticism, he showed that he remains a truly reliable player.

Willian Pacho (8) – A very good first half, very aggressive, strong in duels. He thwarted many Bayern opportunities with his anticipation. He was quite dazzling during this match.

Nuno Mendes (6) – A very early yellow card, a first half where he dealt better with Olise. He also almost received a red card, saved by a Munich handball. He still showed character. In the end, he managed the second leg better than the first. Substituted in the 85th minute by Senny Mayulu.

Midfielders –

Joao Neves (7) – Very strong tactically, he won back a lot of possession and was a real asset in midfield. He even had a good header opportunity. He did a lot of defending, a large part of the game.

Vitinha (7) – He looked very calm and confident, but perhaps he lacked distance. Often too far from the attacking players, he couldn’t deliver his usual passes, but he clearly knew how to slow the game down at various moments. As good as his midfield partners, he didn’t shine as brightly offensively as usual, but his role was crucial.

Fabian Ruiz (7) – A very good first half. Present, solid defensively, and decisive on the goal, he showed why his presence is a real asset for Paris. A very good match, replaced by Lucas Beraldo in the 76th minute.

Forwards –

Khvicha Kvaratskhelia (7) – How amazing he is. A real workhorse, technically very clean, and enterprising. He was decisive once again in a key match. He caused the Munich players problems, both defensively and offensively.

Ousmane Dembélé (6) – A paradoxical match for him. He scored, which was his main offensive contribution, but otherwise, he played quite deep and didn’t have a huge influence in the first half. His intensity dropped, and he was eventually replaced by Bradley Barcola in the 65th minute.

Désiré Doué (6) – A little too casual. He needs to understand that there are matches to showcase his technical skills and others where he needs to execute simple moves. He needs to learn that if he tries something, it’s because he’ll succeed. Bayern Munich doesn’t forgive this slight nonchalance he sometimes displays. Towards the end, he did manage to create some chances. Having failed to capitalize, he was replaced by Lucas Hernandez in the 76th minute.

Coach –

Luis Enrique (7) – What a coach! Another great performance from his team, showing incredible resilience. A desire to avoid rushing the game, to lull Bayern into complacency. He displays an almost indecent level of consistency at the highest level.
