Day 5 of the Champions League 2024-2025 league phase was played this week. UEFA is organizing a series of fan votes. Paris Saint-Germain, who lost to Bayern Munich at the Allianz Arena (1-0, video summary Bayern/PSG), has no player selected in UEFA’s Team of the Week.
It’s no surprise that PSG are still disappointing. They’ll have to do a lot better to qualify, and appear in this standard team. The second point is of course secondary.
Ligue 1 is conspicuous by its absence this week, although we’ve become accustomed to seeing it. The good news is that Brest, Lille and Monaco are well on the way to qualification.
