The French Cup 2024-2025 round of 16 will see FC Espaly (National 3) take on Paris Saint-Germain on January 15. Paris Saint-Germain has made a kind gesture to the club from France’s 5th division by donating a shirt.
It’s not much, especially for PSG’s budget, but it’s a nice gesture when there was no obligation whatsoever. We also appreciate President Christian Perbet’s words on the subject of the Paris club: “We have a very professional relationship, and the PSG directors are very respectful of amateur sport”.
Paris is in the habit of leaving ticket sales to amateur clubs, and we can assume that this will continue to be the case. Here too, however, there is no obligation. Some Ligue 1 clubs don’t do it either. These are things to be appreciated, even if on the pitch there will obviously be no room for gifts. In any case, we’re hoping for a great atmosphere for this special match.
