It’s true that Fabian Ruiz seems to lose some of his talent when he pulls on a Roja shirt. Even if he has already played some great matches for PSG, it’s still far too rare. Particularly when you consider the series of masterclasses he holds with the national team.
So it’s hard to imagine that he’ll make a big impact any time soon, as time goes by without any clear change. Even so, he seems to be one of Luis Enrique’s midfield stalwarts, starting every Champions League match. But we wouldn’t be surprised to see that change next Wednesday against Atlético Madrid (Matchday 4).
Especially as his rivals are pushing in the right direction. Faced with this stalemate at the club, we’re beginning to think that a sale is the best solution, with a possible good price this winter. Perhaps hope is still possible, since the talent is there. What remains to be seen is the position of the staff and the club.
