The international break is always a stressful time for clubs, with the possibility of injuries beyond their control. On Thursday, for example, Paris Saint-Germain saw Lee Kang-In (24-year-old midfielder/forward) leave with a physical problem during South Korea’s 1-1 draw with Oman (2026 World Cup qualifier).
We don’t yet know the seriousness of Lee’s injury, but he had to be carried off. This is a cause for concern, especially as the games are fast-paced and can quickly take their toll when there are players in the infirmary. We’ll have to wait and see, and keep our fingers crossed for a relatively pleasant surprise.
