Paris Saint-Germain and Lens faced off this Wednesday at the Stade Bollaert in a rescheduled match from Matchday 29 of the 2025-2026 Ligue 1 season. The match ended in a 2-0 victory for PSG. After the game, Lens midfielder Mamadou Sangaré (23 years old) spoke to beIN SPORTS.
Sangaré: “We deserved better tonight.”
Is what happened a bit tough?
Yes, I think we deserved better tonight. We played a great match, but we came up against a very good goalkeeper. We can be proud of our season, and I’m proud of our team. We showed a very good side of ourselves.
What’s your assessment of this season?
Everyone played for everyone else; there were no individual players, we were very much a team. It’s great to see, we’re happy and proud of our season. We hope we can continue like this and that on May 22nd we’ll try to win the cup.
