This Tuesday, Paris Saint-Germain faces Liverpool at Anfield in the second leg of their 2025-2026 Champions League quarter-final (kick-off at 9 pm, CET). This Saturday, Le Parisien confirmed the return from injury of Bradley Barcola (23-year-old forward).
“Still without Fabian Ruiz and Quentin Ndjantou, the Parisians could, however, welcome back Bradley Barcola, who resumed team training this week. Sunday’s session should definitively confirm his presence with the squad for the trip to England.”
L’Equipe had mentioned this return as very likely in recent hours; it is now almost a certainty. However, we have seen the media misjudge returns from injury before. And, even if it is confirmed, the amount of playing time Barcola can expect upon the restart remains rather unclear.
The injury wasn’t long-lasting, but it should be a very high-intensity match. We’ll have to wait and see, probably as the game unfolds. It would be surprising if coach Luis Enrique gave any specific indication beforehand.
