Paris Saint-Germain secured a 4-2 victory over Manchester City this Wednesday at the Etihad Stadium, as part of the second matchday of the 2026-2027 Champions League league phase. Following the win, PSG midfielder Vitinha (26) spoke to DAZN.
Vitinha: “I am very proud of my teammates.”
“I feel great. Like the rest of the team, we played a fantastic match. We know how difficult it is to play here—as the results at this stadium often show. We put in a great performance, with an exceptional first half. Naturally, things got tougher afterward; they made adjustments, we had some miscommunications regarding our pressing, and they were able to create attacks. There are things we still need to work on, but it’s a well-deserved win. It was a very strong team performance, and I am very proud of my teammates.”
