Having arrived from Inter Milan in the summer of 2023, Milan Skriniar, a 29-year-old defender under contract until 2028, has failed to establish himself at Paris Saint-Germain. He seems to have been asked to leave. This Tuesday, La Gazzetta dello Sport reports that he is a priority for Juventus Turin this winter.
Nothing impossible, as Juventus have recently been mentioned as a possible candidate to compensate for Gleison Bremer’s long-standing injury. Skriniar has shone in Serie A, so there may be hope of reviving him to bolster the squad.
If it works out, it’s a nice addition. If not, a loan would limit the problem, with the possibility of leaving Skriniar on the sidelines and then leaving again. The Slovak could be tempted, with a fairly interesting way out and a championship he knows very well. There’s hope of a confidence boost.
But don’t worry, nothing’s been decided yet. Juventus may have other ideas. Negotiations with PSG are not necessarily straightforward either, particularly as regards salary payments. We’ll have to wait and see.
