Randal Kolo Muani, the 26-year-old French national team striker who was struggling at Paris Saint-Germain, has been loaned out to Juventus Turin until the end of the 2024-2025 season without an option to buy. He initially bounced back well, and the Turin club announced its intention to keep him. However, this has yet to materialize, and we are awaiting an official announcement. Turin general manager Damien Comolli gave an update in a statement relayed by journalist Fabrizio Romano.
We haven’t yet reached an agreement with PSG to keep Kolo Muani next season, but I’m very optimistic because the player wants to stay with us. We’re working on it.”
It’s good to have something official to go on, as the rumors multiply and are sometimes tiresome. Kolo Muani will play in the Club World Cup with Juventus and possibly next season. It’s at least being discussed, and there’s every reason to believe that an agreement will be possible.
However, it’s not a done deal yet. Sometimes, the common will of each party is not enough. Negotiations between the clubs are necessary, and deadlock can occur. But for the time being, we can hope that Kolo Muani’s future will soon be clear. If possible, with a relatively good move from PSG.
