Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, the 23-year-old SSC Napoli striker under contract until 2027, was the target of a concrete offer from Paris Saint-Germain during the 2024 summer mercato, but his club did not open the door despite pressure from his entourage. This Thursday, Rai Sport reports that his agent is relaunching the dossier.
Kvaratskhelia’s agent and father had not mentioned PSG’s offer and the player’s desire for nothing. There’s a certain will, which can continue. This is the logical reason for blocking negotiations for an extension at Napoli for the time being.
But we don’t know how open the Neapolitan management might be to a transfer. There’s no contractual urgency. The Georgian’s disappointment could come into play, with a loss of motivation that serves no one.
As far as the Parisians are concerned, it would be strange if interest had waned. Especially when you consider the attacking worries we’ve had since the start of the season. Now, it remains highly uncertain whether this dossier will be able to move forward this winter. But a new attempt is quite credible.
At least, for the time being, it seems that PSG can count on the player’s help.
