Christopher Nkunku, Chelsea’s 26-year-old attacking midfielder (contract runs until 2029), has been mentioned as a possible target for his parent club Paris Saint-Germain this winter. PSG Inside Actus reported on Monday that a discussion is scheduled to discuss this possible return.
“Christopher Nkunku is expected to meet with Paris Saint-Germain during the winter break. His return to Paris could take place as early as this winter. Initially on loan with an option to buy.
For once, Campos and Luis Enrique have agreed on a player, which could facilitate the arrival of the Parisian star.“
Nothing impossible, Nkunku is one of the tracks regularly mentioned that seem to be very feasible indeed. He is performing well in the French Cup and Europa League, even earning a place in the French national team, but continues to play very little in the Premier League.
It’s therefore conceivable that Chelsea would be open to an interesting offer, as would the player. His profile, with its versatility and ability to be decisive (with a goal or an assist), could well interest a PSG that is somewhat lacking in attack. And Titi has never closed the door on a return.
Let’s remain cautious, however, as nothing has yet been concretely confirmed. It’s also possible that the matter will never really move forward. Let’s not forget that the idea of a return has already appeared many times for nothing in recent years. Each party may have other ideas for this winter.
