Having arrived in the summer of 2023 from Inter Milan, 29-year-old defender Milan Skriniar has not fully established himself at Paris Saint-Germain. His contract expires in June 2028, and his name has been mentioned in the rumor mill. This Saturday, Sky Sport DE confirms that Galatasaray are keeping tabs on the player, and that the Slovakian is not against the idea of finding refuge there this winter.
“Sky Sport DE confirms Turkish media reports about Skriniar, and the central defender is open to a transfer to Galatasaray.”
An important piece of information for a player who has no future in Paris with Luis Enrique. The winter mercato hasn’t opened its doors, but it’s good to have a first salvo of rumours. This means that Skriniar still has clubs interested in him, and he deserves to go and find a team that will allow him to play.
We’ll have to wait and see what the terms are, though, as PSG will want to do a bit of business with a player they got for free. However, it should also be noted that there are differing opinions here and there, and that Skriniar’s transfer to the Turkish club is far from a done deal. Moreover, the player hasn’t really spoken yet, so his interest is still unclear.
