Having arrived from Inter Milan in the summer of 2023, 29-year-old defender Milan Skriniar has yet to find his place at Paris Saint-Germain. His contract expires in June 2028, but already a departure seems likely as the Slovak international is no longer playing. This Wednesday, journalist Fabrizio Romano reports that Galatasaray have already made good progress, and that the player’s definitive answer is still lacking.
Galatasaray has been touted as the most likely destination for several days now, so we can only hope that it’s not by chance. But it’s not yet enough to be certain. Not least because there is no question of a complete and confirmed agreement. All the same, it seems to be a rather advanced dossier.
Perhaps things will speed up in the next few days. But beware, the Turkish mercato doesn’t open until January 13. Even if everything can be wrapped up before then. It would be good news for both PSG and Skriniar if things didn’t drag on.
