On Saturday at the Stade Saint-Symphorien, Paris Saint-Germain claimed a 3–2 victory over Metz on Matchday 16 of the 2025–2026 Ligue 1 season (video highlights: Metz/PSG). As we now do after every match, we asked our readers to vote for PSG’s best player of the game. Seventeen-year-old forward Ibrahim Mbaye came out on top.

It’s Mbaye’s first win in this vote — and a well-deserved one. The Paris academy product confirmed his progress in decision-making and execution, notably with two assists. He was also more influential overall in chance creation and went close to scoring a very fine opening goal. All this without forgetting his defensive efforts. Hopefully, we’ll see him continue on this path.
To complete the podium, Warren Zaïre-Emery (19-year-old midfielder) once again filled in well at right-back, even if it wasn’t his strongest performance at the moment. Gonçalo Ramos (24-year-old striker) did score, but also missed a few chances. Paris, however, lacked control overall to allow individual players to truly shine.
In any case, thank you for your votes. As a reminder, the podium from each match is later used to determine the Player of the Month.
