How can Ruiz almost be man of the match? There must be something we’re missing. Zaire-Emery, without any frills, was better, as was Vitinha. The defence took a beating at times and Barcola is still struggling. Safonov didn’t prove anything, so the scores seem pretty fair otherwise (except for Ruiz). Doué perhaps deserved a little more, for his body of work, but Paris also had moments of weakness which may explain why the copy isn’t perfect.
