Yoram Zague, a 19-year-old right-back on a professional contract with Paris Saint-Germain until 2028, made a small place for himself in the first team at the start of the 2024-2025 season with a few appearances, but then “disappeared” a little. He finally left for Copenhagen to gain more playing time. The loan with option to buy was made official today.
“Trained at Paris Saint-Germain, Yoram Zague joins FC Copenhagen on loan with an option to buy.
Paris Saint-Germain wishes Yoram an excellent season with FC Copenhagen”
It’s a rather logical step this summer for Zague, with the potential to turn professional at PSG and get his chance but performances not convincing enough to impose himself. The Parisian Titi should have more room for himself in Copenhagen, a team that’s interesting all the same.
He’ll need to adapt quickly, which isn’t easy when you’re changing culture and language, and then seize the opportunities. We’d like to see Zague do just that, as he’s been in good spirits at PSG. We’ll be hoping that the option to buy will be exercised or that we’ll have other possibilities, between a return to Paris or different offers.
